The song was announced on March 13, 2018 as part of the "#CountdownToExpectations" which was held on Kiyoko's social media profiles and was subsequently confirmed to be the ninth track off of the album.[1]
In this song Kiyoko expresses that she wants her lover to make her feel needed and wanted. Hayley wants to know that this girl is in for the ride as much as she is.[2]
