"I Wish" is a song by Hayley Kiyoko. It is the lead single of her fourth EP, I'm Too Sensitive For This Shit. It was announced on July 9, 2019[1] and was released on July 18, 2019 through Atlantic and Empire.

The song was announced on July 9, 2019[1] through a short montage featuring the song's cover art uploaded to Kiyoko's social media accounts. The next two days, Kiyoko uploaded two more videos in promotion of the song[2][3]. Kiyoko expressed her excitment and nervousness about the single's release[4][5] and also stated that she is "going for the top of the charts".[6]
In promotion of the song all of Kiyoko's song featured the short montage of the song's cover art on Spotify.[7]. Moreover, there was an "I Wish" Pop Up Expierence and exclusive merch drop in Los Angeles on on July 19 & July 20.[8][9]
